Police Integrity, Responsibility, and Discipline

This report looks at the issue of police integrity from three separate perspectives: the susceptibility of police officers to corruption, the level of personal accountability for problematic behaviors and their attitudes toward organizational policies that are intended to promote integrity. The views of officers inform us about organizational tolerance for rule violation as well as the perceived fairness of disciplinary systems. This report presents results from seven agencies - two small, three medium, and two large departments.
